About this workshop:

Every age and phase of life brings change – sometimes we actively choose change and sometimes it arrives unexpectedly. Either way, all change is accompanied by concerns, fears, and questions: How do I know if making this change will make me happy? Is it meaningful? How do I stay balanced in the face of uncertainty? How do I know if I am making the right decisions? How can I stay true to myself during this transition? I know what I want but how do I get there? Who am I anyway?

This workshop offers tools, practices, and principles that can help you answer these questions. You will have the opportunity to assess primary areas of importance in your life and determine whether change is needed, develop options, clarify what conflicts are at play, and begin to a identify priorities and tasks. The workshop emphasizes making wise choices through clarification of your values and developing the capacity to deeply listen to your authentic voice.

We will explore topics such as effectiveness and fulfillment in work, starting or ending careers, intimate relationships, self-esteem, money, doubts and insecurities, and life balance. Each class will include presentations, self-assessments, small group discussions, personal inquiry, and participatory exercises. The self-assessments are designed to allow clarity about where you are presently in life and to create a vision for yourself.

We will specifically focus on looking within versus dwelling on external circumstances. The goal is to offer tools and mindfulness techniques that will help you build skill sets that will empower you to navigate your changes and transitions more skillfully. This ultimately brings about improved well-being, life balance and sustainability all of which are essential for effective leadership in your professional life and more genuine presence of being in your personal life. Expect a workshop designed to support self-exploration, self inquiry and ultimately self knowing.
