Individual and Group Consultation

I find great pleasure in helping therapists develop their EMDR skills in order to enhance personal mastery and to better serve their clients. I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified EMDR Therapist, with over 25 years of teaching experience as a Clinical Facilitator with EMDR Trainings. I have worked with all ages (from 3 to 84) in a variety of settings. As an artist, I bring creativity into the process and often combine EMDR with Expressive Arts. Other significant influences, which I integrate into my sessions include studies in Somatic Psychology as well as Mindfulness/Awareness Practices drawn from 20 years of Vipassana meditation practice.

Sessions take place in my North Berkeley, California office which is conveniently located 1/2 block from the North Berkeley Bart Station, OR, remotely through conference calling. I serve individuals and groups of two to eight people.

I provide and/or respond to requests for Practice Groups. In these you will have the opportunity to do sessions with each other and deconstruct them for the purposes of fine tuning your learning and building your confidence. Practice groups take place in my office or remotely through video conferencing. Additionally, I provide and/or respond to requests for Workshops on specific topics such as Working with Children, Life Transitions, Attachment Focused EMDR, Fine Tuning Your EMDR Skills, Integrating Expressive Arts into your EMDR Practice, Unleashing your Inner Creative EMDR Therapist, or, Using EMDR to Move Through Creative Blocks.

Attachment focused EMDR is my primary focus.  I have developed a new EMDR based protocol which specifically addresses
attachment issues and serving clients with complex trauma:
